Our Story
Jitmeal was founded in 2020 in Estonia with a mission to bring smart, flexible, and user-friendly digital tools to the restaurant industry.

Jitmeal was founded in 2020 in Estonia with a vision to create a modern and accessible platform for the restaurant industry. We aimed to simplify daily operations through smart, easy-to-use tools.
From the start, our focus was on flexibility, intuitive design, and real needs of restaurant owners. We wanted to build a system that works — without complexity.
Together with local businesses in Tallinn, we validated our idea and laid the groundwork for what would grow into the Jitmeal platform.

Launch of Jitmeal POS
2021
In 2021, we launched the first working version of the Jitmeal POS system and began onboarding our first clients in Tallinn. It was a major step from concept to a real, functioning product.
The system allowed restaurants to manage orders, payments, and basic reporting — all from one interface. Our goal was to keep things simple, yet powerful.
Early feedback helped us refine the user experience and prepare the platform for further growth and feature expansion.

Entered Ukraine Market
2022
In 2022, we expanded beyond Estonia and entered the Ukrainian market, partnering with restaurants, cafés, and local food chains. This marked the beginning of our international growth.
We adapted the platform to meet regional needs, including language localization and integrations with local payment systems. The response was overwhelmingly positive.
This year also helped us better understand the diverse needs of businesses in different markets, setting the stage for a more scalable product.

Telegram & Delivery Integrations
2023
In 2023, we launched one of our most innovative features — the Telegram Mini App. It allowed restaurants to take orders, accept payments, and stay connected with customers directly inside the messenger.
We also integrated Jitmeal with major delivery platforms like Bolt Food and Wolt, giving businesses a unified system to manage all incoming orders in one place.
These updates significantly expanded the platform’s capabilities and positioned Jitmeal as a modern, multi-channel solution for restaurants of all sizes.

Platform & App Redesign
2024
In 2024, we completed a full redesign of the Jitmeal platform, focusing on a cleaner interface, faster navigation, and improved user experience across all devices.
We also launched branded mobile apps for iOS and Android, allowing restaurants to offer their customers a seamless ordering experience directly from their phones.
This year marked a shift toward a mobile-first strategy and laid the foundation for scaling Jitmeal in new international markets.

Scaling across the EU
2025
In 2025, Jitmeal began active expansion into the European Union, establishing partnerships with restaurants and hospitality businesses across multiple countries.
We focused on localization, compliance with EU regulations, and building strong relationships with regional partners to support long-term growth.
With a stable platform, multilingual support, and flexible features, Jitmeal is now positioned as a reliable all-in-one solution for restaurants across Europe.
